We are seeking an Asst Director of Food and Beverage to assist in our hotel's implementation of our new restaurant concept - Shade, manage room service for 334 rooms, bar operation as well as a 25,000 sq foot banquet operation. .
The restaurant will offer a casual upbeat atmosphere for B-L-D and it strives to achieve strong guest satisfaction.
We are seeking an individual who has had stand-alone restaurant experience as well as experience managing a large banquet operation. Our Director of F&B will have talents for training and motivating associates, is very guest - associate oriented with great leadership and natural people skills. This position is for someone who has held a similar position and is able to create and implement their vision and strategies. They should have strong technical floor skills, be very good with cost controls, and be able to train and deliver a great service experience to each and every guest.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within various functions of an F&B operation preferably with both free-standing and high-end hotel exposure.
- Minimum of 1 year of F&B Management experience
- Excellent knowledge of food service and alcohol mixing methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Requires bending, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, typing, grasping, repetitive motions. Subject to exposure to wet floors, temperature extremes, and excessive noise.
- Must be able to work long hours (minimum 50-60 hours per week) and manage several simultaneous activities.
