Hilton Garden Inn Livermore is in search for an experienced sales manager to handle multiple markets including meetings.  You will be joining an excellent team in a hotel environment that is the finest in the Livermore area. As a Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

*  Building new business by identifying and qualifying leads in the SMERF and Meetings Market.

*  Assisting the DOS in the Corporate, Government, and OTA Market Segments.

*  Utilize all Hilton Sales Tools to maximize revenue.

*  Facilitate Banquet Event Orders and work closely with F&B team to execute a memorable event.

*  Participate in community related events to build relationships with local businesses.

*  Make sales calls by telephone, appointments, and cold calls.

*  Assist GM and DOS in forecasting business and manage rates/inventory as needed.

*  Uphold all Hilton brand standards

 

*  Qualified candidate will possess a minimum 2-3 years hotel sales experience.

*  Hilton brand experience is a must for this position and Hilton brand sales experience is preferred.

*  Must possess good computer skills and be proficient with MS Office applications.

*  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*  Must have the ability to multi task and possess a keen understanding of time management.

*  Must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to assist in other departments when needed.

*  Must be able to work weekends as needed.

*  Will be required to participate in a rotating Manager on Duty responsibilities.

*  Will be required to facilitate meetings business.
