BUTLER / HOUSE MANAGER

Our client, a large estate in Eastern USA is looking for a Butler/ House Manager with the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of general housekeeping standards
- Knowledge of proper care of silver, china, fine art, antiques, flower arranging, etc
- Light meal preparation and table service, both formal and casual
- Proficient at wine service (sommelier level preferred)
- Maintaining and management of household inventories
- Knowledge of light cooking
- Can plan and work private events - both formal and informal
- Must have worked in an Executive or diplomat household
- British Butler or British training preferred
- Has worked long periods of time at few employers, not a hopper
- Proficient at wine service (sommelier level preferred)
- Experience managing a small staff
- Has experience working in a household with children
- Good leader with good command of the English language, both verbal and written. College degree preferred
- Loyal, Committed, Respectful, Team Player, a Gentleman
