Executive Chef

Boutique Hotel on the island of Nantucket is looking for dynamic working chef with proven track record for producing world class food, on time and on budget.  Successful candidate will be a strong leader who believes in developing his team, is highly organized and is financially savvy.  Experience on an island or in remote destination is a plus. Housing is appropriate for single or couple.

* 5 years experience working in all areas of kitchen
* Proven experience in managing staff
* Demonstrated experience in controlling department's costs
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications is an asset

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

* Constant standing, walking and bending throughout shift
* Able to work long hours
* Able to lift heavy items

Schedule: Irregular hours including nights, weekends and public holidays
