FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

Responsible of ensuring a prompt and efficient service to all outlets and functions as per resort company standards and also ensuring that profit margins are maintained and food and beverage costs are in line with corporate standard, and profitability exceeded through effective control systems.

• Assists in planning and implementing of procedures for special events and banquet functions.
• Provides daily, weekly, monthly reports and other reports required.
• Manages food and beverage service employees.
• Purchase and control of inventory
• Ensures practice of health and safety regulations
•  Negotiates supplier arrangements for food and beverage products
• Plans menus and food utilization for restaurants and special events like banquets, based on anticipated number of guests, nutritional value, palatability, popularity, and costs.

Responsibility for sales, expenses and profit goals as outlined in the food & beverage as per department operating plans/budgets, while promoting the company goals of customer service and satisfaction, team work, reporting requirements and financial performance.

Education

• Bachelor Hotel Management School), with specialization in Food and Beverage

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of international F&B experience in the luxury hotel business (previous experience in hotel openings and implementing SOPs is highly valued)
• English and Spanish fluent (knowledge of additional languages such as Italian, German or French is appreciated)
• Strong software knowledge: MS Applications, MICROS Opera Xpress, POS and stock control systems
• Leadership skills and ability to train others
• Energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and capable to adapt in a new and fast-paced environment
• Project Management skills with strong problem-solving skills

Annual salary: US$ 42,000.00, Accommodation at company facility, Meals and transport provided by company facilities, Private Health insurance and Phone for business use
