We have an immediate opening for an Executive Sous Chef to captain our top notch Restaurant and Culinary Team. This person will report to our Executive Chef.

We're seeking an Executive Sous Chef who will engage our team members and emphasize the importance of providing the highest quality food and service. We need a Chef who is confident and can think quickly in stressful situations while maintaining poise and positive leadership. A big smile, a great attitude, and an eye for detail are very important. Must be a team player, service oriented and be able to maintain a clean work area and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must have 2 years of kitchen management experience.

*Two years or more of Kitchen Management experience and/or 5 years of cooking in a fine dining environment required.
*College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality field preferred
*Exhibit extensive culinary expertise and working knowledge of food cost, best practices (line checks), and purchasing, i.e. produce, seafood, etc.
*Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them
*Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
*Ensure food items are prepared according to our standards of quality, consistency and time lines
*Maintain food storage, receiving, rotating & stocking
*Excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task
*A clean, professional appearance
