Located in North Barrington Illinois, Biltmore Country Club was founded in 1926 and has become THE family club in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The Club is privately owned and has a unique set of amenities that set's itself apart with a newer clubhouse that showcases exceptional casual and semi formal dining venues, challenging 18 holes of golf and a fantastic tennis complex. Our newly renovated Beach Club features a full service restaurant and bar as well as a pool, beach and private lake. With all that Biltmore has to offer, our membership now refers to the Club as "The Only Resort in Barrington".
Biltmore Country Club has 320 members with an average age of 52 years. Gross revenues of $4.2M with Annual Dues of $2.2M and Food & Beverage revenues of $1.3M
Position Summary:
The Assistant Club Manager reports to the Club Manager and is responsible for Food & Beverage Operations, Cabana Operations, Locker Rooms, Maintenance, Valet and overall membership satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
- Interact will all membership with the goal of making each visit to the Club a memorable one.
- Responsible for all private functions and ala carte dining.
- Oversee staff development in all areas of the Club.
- Build upon service standards already in place.
- Oversee and continue to improve Cabana Food & Beverage operations.
- Responsible for all front of the house staff training.
- Monitor labor to ensure adequate staffing coverage to meet the needs of the membership.
- Lead team in the planning and execution of all club social functions.
- Ensure Clubhouse facility is in perfect working order both visually and mechanically.
Job Requirements:
- Hospitality degree preferred
- Previous experience in the hospitality field is a must with an emphasis on food and beverage operations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are critical to this position.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to prioritize in a fast paced environment.
