The Doubletree by Hilton at Denver Tech Center is a well-appointed full-service hotel with 305 guest rooms, over 20,000 square feet of function space and a contemporary restaurant. We are looking for a polished professional with experience in a full-service hotel environment to join our Sales team as Group Sales Manager focusing on SMERF and government markets. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this position will generate group business and maximize revenue profitability using proactive sales activities in accordance with established standards. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Prospect for new business through solicitation, networking and cold-calling.
  • Improve hotel visibility by conducting outside sales calls/blitzes, attending trade shows and market segment related events.
  • Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly and annual targeted sales goals and profit margins.
  • Maintain an active list of accounts to ensure continuous relationship development.
  • Develop and execute monthly focused and aggressive action plans.
  • Maintain and secure repeat business through client satisfaction and loyalty.

 

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible management experience in Group Sales within a 200+ room full-service hotel; OR 4 year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major and 4 years of experience in Sales within a 200+ room full-service hotel or related professional area. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and communication skills with a strong guest focus and proven track record in generating group revenue. Ability to develop and maintain effective account and contact management to maximize group revenue profitability. Must be able to maintain a professional and effective working relationship with all departments within the hotel. Local candidates only. No phone calls please.
