Experienced Sous Chef

Rio Verde Country Club is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Sous Chef to join our team. The person who will fill this position must have the following qualifications...experience in many different types of cuisine, be very creative, ability and patience to teach, understanding of food and labor costs, a solid work history, and must be a hands on chef (95% kitchen, 5% administration). Candidates must have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in a high volume, fine dining, and culinary driven environment.

The Sous Chef is partially responsible for all operations pertaining to the kitchen, including; product ordering, receiving, storage, production, sanitation, staff training and development, menu planning and development and kitchen service standards for the restaurant and banquet functions during all meal periods. The expectation is that the Sous Chef will provide innovative and creative culinary dining and the ability to offer custom menus for semi-private gathering of 20 to 90 guests
