Gemini Real Estate Advisors, LLC, a Manhattan based hotel and real estate investment company is recruiting for a Hotel Accountant to work with multiple hotels and corporate entities. The individual will process financial information, complete reporting and analysis for the firm by performing the following duties;

• Prepare daily income journal reports.
• Review all allowances & paid outs.
• Prepare and audit daily deposits.
• Prepare  reconciliation of bank statements and daily cash flow.
• Assist in monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Review aged Accounts Receivable.
• Process invoices by property and distribute to general ledger expense accounts.

• Minimum of 3 years of hotel accounting experience
• Ability to train and motivate associates at assets
• Displays courtesy and professionalism in all contacts
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated
• Detail orientated
• Ability to effectively multi-task
• Intermediate knowledge of computer applications
