Job Description
Uniquely designed and comfortably appointed, the newly renovated Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center is a 484-room hotel with approximately 45,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Ideally situated in Stamford, CT, our hotel is just a short drive from Westchester, LaGuardia, and JFK International Airports and easily accessible to Manhattan by car or train. The Chief Engineer oversees all aspects of hotel maintenance, including public space, guest rooms, kitchen and outlets, hotel equipment, preventive-maintenance programs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. Position is involved in OSHA training and other compliance requirements, as well as life-safety systems and procedures.
Job Requirements
Must have previous Engineering management experience in large, upscale, full-service hotel. Must have advanced working knowledge of all aspects of hotel maintenance. Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Familiar with chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatments, pneumatics, control systems, water systems, boilers, refrigeration, compressors, etc.
