We are looking for energetic and experienced Corporate Catering Sales professional to join our team.

Job Description:

Small group (9 rooms and under on peak) and local day meeting sales manager. Primary responsibility is to solicit new and repeat local accounts with rooms and/or food and beverage/meeting room rental.
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals. This will consist of telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communication and file maintenance with new and existing customers. Position covers groups with 9 or less more guestrooms.

Communication, account management, contract negotiations with group meeting/event planners and decision makers for cultivation and development of short/long term business. Varied market segments

Develop sales action plan and strategy in order to meet or exceed room night and revenue goals.

Participate in trade shows/events and make sales calls with customers that may involve travel within or outside the state of Massachusetts dependent on assigned markets and customer locations.

Proven track record of exceeding personal and team goals
Must have the ability to solicit, qualify and close group business and assist the sales and catering team in securing business
Knowledge of the Boston hotel market
Key account management and the ability to develop new accounts
Maintain and develop new customer relationships
Interact positively with other departments
Displays a professional appearance and attitude with both clients and Millennium Bostonian employees.
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Knowledge of Delphi Systems
Valid Drivers License
Travel Required

minimum one year experience in a hotel sales capacity.
