CREDIT MANAGER - HOTEL/CONFERENCE CENTER

The Credit Manager is responsible for the operations DSO and cash flow through effective collections and advance deposit results.
Recipe to Succeed:
- Monitor credit risk analysis and determine credit limits of new and existing accounts.
- Effectively utilize corporate collections and legal department as required to support collections activities and optimize cash flow.
- Regularly interact with Billing, Sales and operations to ensure efficient collections, resolve payment issues, reduce DSO and minimize/eliminate write offs
- Prepare collection reports for management review
- Reconcile monthly local and corporate AR files and make adjustments as required.
- Manage monthly credit meeting with all sales and conference staff.
- Oversee the pre-approval procedure for all hotel and conference center groups.
Necessary Ingredients:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 1+ years Hotel Business Experience
- Prior Accounts Receivable Experience
- Microsoft Excel & Access application development experience helpful
- Microsoft Office
- The individual must possess a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, have all skills, and produce consistently accurate work.
- Team Player and motivator, detail oriented, detail oriented, forward thinking, creative, ability to work within time frame, maintain a consistently stable work environment.
