Responsibilities
The Spa Guest Service Manager (GSM) provides Leadership to all Spa locations including front of house operations, reservations, front desk and spa attendant, and salon locations at Walt Disney World (WDW). Additionally, the Spa GSM works with local recreation leadership to ensure seamless delivery of fitness center attendant services, in support of the treatment room offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Guests and cast members working in the spa facility and salons, ensuring all treatments are being performed to standard and that Guests receive flawless service as well as other responsibilities listed below.
Accountable to operate a safe environment
Proactively seeks Guest feedback to ensure the treatment met expectations
Responsible to ensure the daily and weekly schedule for all cast members working in the spa matches business demand and Cast availability in the most efficient manner possible; is accountable for labor expenses.
Possess complete knowledge of all services and products.
Ensure Cast Members actively promote spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs and promotions
Handle Guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Provide accurate and immediate responses to all Guest requests ensuring complete satisfaction
Regularly participate in and support ongoing training to continue to be knowledgeable about current spa trends
Constantly standing in the operating area
Basic Qualifications
Previous leadership experience
Embraces diversity of Cast and motivates teams to deliver excellent Guest service daily
Fosters an environment of teamwork and collaboration
Excellent communication and listening skills
Enjoys working with people and possesses a friendly and outgoing personality
Previous experience with ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations with minimal or no supervision
Proactive in anticipating guest needs and providing appropriate service recovery when necessary
Knowledgeable about WDW Resorts and surrounding area
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous leadership experience in a spa, salon or hotel environment
Fluency in more than one language
Wellness/Fitness background
Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent
