Looking for a Front Office Manager for a 288 room hotel with over 60,000 feet of meeting space. Must have prior front desk and manager experience. The candidate will be responsible for the success of the front desk, for ensuring that guest satisfaction is met, and for managing all areas of the Front Office according to standards that achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and quality.
Act as manager on duty for hotel, guests, and managers front desk operations.
Ensure front desk staff is trained in all front desk operations, including check in/out procedures, telephone procedures, overall shift procedures, hotel amenities and computer system.
Ensure front desk staff is trained in and follows financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables.
Produce accurate reports on a timely basis.
Complete Front Office work schedules while maintaining proper labor controls.
Work with other departments as a team member to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provide direction and supervision to departmental supervisor and staff.
Select, train, and develop all departmental staff in duties to achieve desired service expectations
Manage recruitment, selection, orientation, training, performance planning and evaluation, pay and reward programs to maintain a qualified front desk workforce.
Maintain a positive, cooperative work environment among staff and management
