SUMMARY: This is an overnight Laundry position. The ideal candidate will need to be self directed, energetic and organized. This position will be key in setting up the rest of the department and hotel for success during the daily operating hours.
To wash and fold linens, towels.
Stock linen closets.
Restock the housekeeping carts.
Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry.
Assist in other duties as needed, cleaning in guest areas, bathrooms, guest deliveries in the overnight.
Communicate any deficiencies in laundry equipment.
Maintain quality of linen.
Assist with inventory as needed.
This is an OVERNIGHT position.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Less than high school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Must be able to speak English to communicate with guests. Must be able to recognize situations which may involve guests that require immediate supervisory attention. Must know and use reasonable care for the safety and security of the guests.
