The Pool Attendant/Concierge is responsible for seating guests at the pool and providing exceptional service. We are all about exceeding guest expectations - through service delivery, complimentary water/fruit service and just taking the time to care for our guests poolside. The essential hospitality standards must be used at all times: eye contact, smile, speak first, engage in polite conversation, use the guest surname!

Wowwing guests with unexpected service, over-anticipating needs.
Greet guests at pool, serve water, fruit and drinks.
Maintain the cleanliness of the pool area.
Answer guest questions, provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
Provide towel service.
Offer suntan lotion.
ANTICIPATE GUEST NEEDS to insure complete guest satisfaction.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
One to three months related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to quickly perform these operations using units of American money, in stressful situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the Pool Attendant may service utensils, such as glasses, trays, etc. Floors may be slippery. Carriers large on trays which need to be cautiously positioned and transported. Broken glass may also be present and must be carefully handled.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderated to loud and crowded. Ability to maneuver in close spaces is required.
