Job Summary: Responsible for managing the food and beverage service of the restaurant to include food preparation, food service and beverage service and to maintain established operational standards and maximize profits for the hotel. Assists the Restaurant Manager and Senior Assistant Manager in developing and training restaurant service staff.

 

Other Job Tasks:

       Must be able to accomplish the tasks of the following associates:

  • Host/hostess
  • Bus Person
  • Deli Cashier
  • Server (AM, PM and Late Night)
  • Assist in all culinary areas

  • Assistant to Restaurant Manager, Assistant F & B Director, F & B Director and Vice President of F & B
  • Manage Daily Shifts
  • Train new and existing associates
  • Associate Evaluations
  • Ordering/Receiving Product

  • Complete other tasks or projects as assigned by management
  • Must have recent high volume restaurant management experience.
  • Must be able to manager food, beverage and labor cost.
  • Must be able to establish daily food and beverage pars based on projected sales.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
  • Must meet city, county state and other legal minimum age requirement to sell/serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to maintain the following certifications current:
    • Manager ServSafe Food Handling® within 60 days of employment.
    • C.A.R.E. alcohol awareness within 90 days of employment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage cost controls.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, holidays and weekends.
