A Drug-Free and Tobacco-Free Workplace

Supervises the valet attendants, door persons and shuttle drivers. Monitors and directs vehicular and pedestrian activity ensuring a safe, smooth and efficient flow. Serves guests of hotel by opening doors, hailing taxis, answering inquiries, assisting with loading and unloading of luggage, registering and completing valet tickets and working closely with the bell stand.

 

Other Job Tasks:

·  Provides updated information pertaining to the hotel and local area. Is familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities in order to respond to guest inquiries accurately.

·  Issues valet/self parking tickets, notates damages and explains retrieval procedure in each interaction with guest as applicable. .

·  Assists with loading and unloading luggage from guest vehicles, taxis, buses and airport shuttles.

·  Ensures safety and security of all guest luggage.

·  Assists guests in securing transportation by hailing taxis and airport shuttles and buses.

·  Monitors and directs traffic activity of taxis, limousines and hotel/restaurant guests’ vehicles, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow.

·  Ensures that all driveways are kept clear and that vehicles are not parked or left standing in unapproved locations.

·  Ensures that the keys to all vehicles on the driveway are held in the designated holding area.

·  Directs and supervises valet parkers in transporting vehicles between hotel entrance and parking facility.

·  Supervises the activities on the front drive of the doorpersons, valet parkers, shuttle drivers and valet cashiers.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, holidays and weekends. Shift times flexible:  6am - 2pm or 3pm - 11pm
