Position: Purchasing Buyer Coordinator (Temporary position)

Position Summary:

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION.  

The Purchasing Buyer Coordinator reports to the Purchasing Manager. This position will perform the day to day activities associated with procuring, work products and deliverables as defined by the process procedures and in accordance with company policy. He/she will be working with other procurement and hotel staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

* High School Diploma, equivalent or higher
* One year progressive experience in multiple outlet hotel/hospitality industry
* Knowledge of Adaco or Epicor systems (helpful)
* Commodity specialty and experience in Food & Beverage, Engineering, China, Glass, Silverware, Linen and Uniforms Printing materials, Stationary, Office supplies Telecom, IT, Security, HR
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
* Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.
* Ability to maintain confidentially is mandatory.
* Ability to communicate clearly, timely, and accurately.
* Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
* Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
* Experience in materials and equipment necessary to sustain operations
* Working knowledge of computer based accounting software, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint
* Ability to operate basic office equipment
* Effective organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
