Job Description

The Omni Bedford Springs Resort is currently seeking a
seasonal Golf Tee Time Starter, who will be responsible
for providing the highest level of guest service, while
maintaining the golf car fleet, staging area, and
practice facility in an appealing manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Enthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if
possible).

* Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner, making
them feel welcome.

* Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all
times in accordance with Omni Hotels.

* Render professional advice, opinions, assistance,
and services as required.

* Perform duties and meet requirements for
tournaments, club rentals and services which the
Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professionals
deem necessary.

* Promote the interests of the resort in providing
service to the guest.

* Provide a guest-friendly environment.

HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

* Effectively operate a hand-held radio communication
device.

* Effectively communicate with fell staff members,
valet, and bell staff.

* Be knowledgeable in trail access locations, bike
rentals, and appropriate fishing locations.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

* Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by
supervisor or manager.

* Assist in other departments as needed.

* Attend monthly departmental meetings.

ENVIRONMENT: Primarily outdoor environment with exposure
to sun and heat. Job involves constant standing and
walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf is
preferred.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including
weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.

* Availability for a start date of April 1
