Description:


Maintenance Helpers and Utility Engineers work to ensure the general maintenance and repair of IHR properties. Requirements include: knowledge of maintenance trades, basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry; basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment and related tools; basic English language communication and math skills; moving heavy equipment; and working at heights up to 30 feet.

Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils and replace motors.

Perform preventive maintenance on all equipments,

Take required readings on equipments.

Replace and program televisions as needed.

Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.

Perform furniture repair.

Other duties as assigned by Chief Engineer.
