Job Description
To provide outstanding guest service, both internal and external. Safeguard company funds, while maintaining accurate accountability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
* Maintain a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Ameristar Casino.
* Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.
* This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
* Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Standards of Conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, and sanitation.
* Redeem coins, tickets, chips, and cash guest checks.
* Maintain and assure the proper handling and routing of all paperwork.
* Respond to reasonable guest requests or place the guest in contact with the appropriate person for assistance.
* Maintain a 9.0 in friendliness on monthly JDPower scores.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* An understanding of Excel.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Strong guest service.
* Ability to work with interruptions and excessive noise.
Required Natural Behaviors:
* Ability to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies
* Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others
* Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays
* Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency
* Excellent Guest service skills; outgoing personality and demonstrate friendliness and enthusiasm
Job Requirements
* Previous guest service experience preferred.
* Cash handling background helpful but not required.
* Excellent customer service skills a must.
