The Sheraton Charleston Hotel is a 289 room,  full service hotel located in the heart of North Charleston.  We are approximately 8 miles from the beautiful historic district of North Charleston and a mere 2 miles from Charleston International Hotel.     

Primary responsibilities include:

 - Establishes client based of organizations, social, and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales effort for the purposes of securing business for the hotel. 

- Develops and maintain relationships with key clients. 

- Negotiates group room rates, meeting room rates, function space.  Confirms in writing with clients sales contracts.

- Responds quickly to guest requests.  

- Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities. 

- Accurately forecasts bookings and cancelations. 

- Assists the Director of Sales with the achievement of the sales marketing plan. 

- Maintains a professional image at all times.

Education/Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent. 

- A minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales is preferred.

- Computer Skills (Microsoft Office and Delphi )

-Planning and organizational skills
