Server for Oasis Pool at The Phoenician Hourly Wage Plus Gratuity / Non-Exempt / Part-Time and Part Time Seasonal Voted the #1 Best Place to Work by Phoenix Business Journal! Be a Server at the luxurious Oasis Pools and learn what exceptional guest service is all about! We are currently searching for someone who can consistently provide personal and instinctive service, while assisting the service staff with the efficient quality presentation of food and beverage poolside. This service professional will ensure that our guests receive a memorable experience and the ultimate in service. Exceptional communication is the gold standard at The Phoenician. Selected candidate will possess prior Server experience ideally within an independent or chain restaurant, country club, or hotel/resort food and beverage operation. Exceptional food and beverage knowledge necessary. Ideal candidate will have exceptionally high service standards consistent with our AAA Five Diamond quality. The ability to work a variable schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays required. We are seeking both Part Time and Seasonal Part Time Ambassadors to help augment our team for the season. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AVERAGE % OF TIME 60% Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques. Clear tables during service. Control guest checks and secure proper payment. 20% Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor. 20% Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment. Other: Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
