A high-end resort property in the Northwest is seeking an Executive Chef who will be responsible for overseeing the Culinary operations. Multiple outlets. Need super experienced Chef with PR experience.  Fantastic family and quality of life location.   

This Chef must be KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT LATEST CULINARY TRENDS and very hands-on in the kitchen and passionate about creating food that is of excellent quality and using ingredients that are fresh and seasonal.



He or she will:

- Be directly responsible for the day-to-day food and beverage operations of the property.

- Prepare menus for all outlets, banquets, room service, and special events, as needed.

- Create menus and implement an efficient daily operation

- Oversee and be responsible for training of culinary and service staff

- Expediting

- Be hands-on and a great leader / motivator

- Ensure that food at all stations and storage is maintained in healthful manner

- Work with front of the house personnel in assuring a smooth operation between the two areas 

- Be present for all management meetings

- Ensure top quality, freshness and proper rotation of all products

The ideal candidate has a high end or fine-dining culinary background in hotels, restaurants, clubs, or catering company.

In order to be qualified for this position, you have:

-Prior experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant, or club 
-Prior experience in banquets, catering, or special events 
-Knowledge about plating and presentation
-Experience in supervising and training staff (preferably with some seasonal experience as well)
-Knowledge of ordering and inventory
-Food handler's certification and knowledge of HACCP standards required
-Skills in menu development within budgeted food costs
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Passion for keeping up with latest food trends
-Experience and understanding of international wines and food &wine pairings
