Job Description:	THE POSITION: Director of Revenue and Inventory Management Director of Revenue and Inventory Management will create, execute and manage the Rate Strategies, Distribution Channels and Yield Management of rental inventory for 12 Timeshare Resorts. Position also coordinates with Revenue managers of 3 hotels on distribution and rate strategies. Position has 2 direct reports. Office located in Carlsbad, Ca. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maximize rental revenue and net profits for 12 coastal resorts based in San Diego County, also including locations in Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley, Coronado, San Clemente and Indio. * Implements yield management techniques to consistently achieve or exceed budgets for online and offline room revenue, occupancy, ADR and RevPar. * Daily occupancy forecasts analysis, pricing strategies with competitive set comparisons. * Monitors and analyzes the performance reporting, STAR, Rate View and other reports to drive decisions leading to positive performance. * Manages online distribution channels including company's website, resorts website, Expedia, Hotels.com, ARES, Orbitz, GDS, etc. * Prepares various forecasting and financial reports. * Work with Resort Managers, Marketing Inventory Managers to increase ADR's & ensure rate parity across all GPR Resorts rental inventory (all sources) * Assist Central Reservations agents with on the spot pricing. * Assist Central Reservations find placement and appropriate pricing for groups. * Support ResorTime.com operations in implementing policy and procedures. ACCOUNTIBILITY * Candidate will be required to maintain an on-going inventory procurement plan detailing activity successes and shortcomings for program optimization. * Candidate's performance will be measured by: o Revenue to Budget for all rental revenue o Improved Occupancy Rates o ADR Supply and Demand Improvements
Job Requirements:	QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum two years of Yield/Revenue Management experience for multiple resort/hotel site.. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work well in a dynamic fast paced environment. * Ability to understand impact of opportunities on all business segments. * Excellent computer skills, strong analytical skills and ROI minded. * Ability to influence and manage across diverse functional team members * Great written and verbal communications and presentation skills * Outgoing "sales" personality and desire to work in a collaborative environment
