Job Description
Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a

dining experience available in San Antonio Texas. This
is an opportunity to work for the best hotel food &
beverage team in the city. We are looking for a
candidate who is interested in building a long-term
future with Omni Hotels.
This candidate will be responsible for assisting the
Director of Food and Beverage with the daily management
of an extremely high volume food and beverage operation,
ensuring a balance of meeting guest and associate
expectations, and hotel financial and quality goals.
Number one priority will be to oversee, upgrade, and
increase sales in all food and beverage outlets.
Experience should minimally include upscale dining
management experience, lounge operations, strong
financial and budget skills, along with a proactive and
innovative management style. Candidate should be
knowledgeable in beverage operations to include wine
list development, cost controls and creative upscale
in-house promotions.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work
Experience)
Minimum of 5 year's experience in the Food & Beverage
Management in an upscale hotel environment.
Strong knowledge of wines.
Strong working knowledge of Micros.
Ability to make quick decisions in high stress
situations.
Pleasant and positive personality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Consistent maintenance of/and refinement of Omni service
standards.
Correlation of outlet P & L and financial information
monthly.
Assure consistent maintenance of corporate Food and
Beverage systems and control procedures in all house
operations.
Assure unit management development through will planned
cross training programs.
Consistent maintenance of environments of all outlets
and related areas.
Attend weekly Coordination and Department Head meetings.
Relay information about upcoming events to staff under
his/her supervision. Relay company policy and procedures
to staff under his/her supervision.
Supply information about department capabilities and
programs to other departments and clients or potential
clients.
Respond to needs and requests of guests and potential
guests.
Ensure that implementation and maintenance of standards
of food, beverage and service quality are commensurate
with a first-class facility.
Implement affective cost controls for food, beverage and
labor.
Develop standards of productivity for food & beverage
personnel.
Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed
and loyal employees.
Oversee hiring and training programs for food and
beverage personnel.
