Job Description

Would you like to work with the best Food & Beverage Management
team in San Antonio? The ideal candidate should strive to create the
most remarkable hotel experiences. The Assistant Banquet Manager will
assist the Director of Banquets in delivering outstanding
guest services and assures that fundamentals are being met, guests
and employees are satisfied and problems are promptly resolved. Add
personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum satisfaction
while complying with all of Omni Hotels policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

A minimum of 2 years Food and Beverage management
experience at a luxury level. Fine dining experience in
a banquet and events capacity.

Assist the Director of Banquets in daily department
operations and, guest conflict resolution

Assist the Director or Banquets in development of team
member performance to include, but not limited to,
providing professional development, providing
supervision, conducting counseling and performance
evaluations, providing professional development and
delivering recognition and reward.

Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the
hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest
level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating
special requests whenever possible, will resolve
complaints in person, by phone or thorough written
message.

Takes action in all matters related to the safety,
security, satisfaction and well being of hotel guests
and employees. Responds swiftly and effectively in any
hotel emergency or safety situation.

Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers
and supervisors.

Empowered and empowers employees to create remarkable
moments for each guest, employee, visitor or client.

Full Time Management Position that requires full
flexibility, including the ability to work weekends and
holidays and a varied schedule.

A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of
others in a fast paced environment.

Refined verbal and written communication skills.

Bilingual is a plus.
