Sofitel - Philadelphia is hiring for our Security Department!
The Sofitel - Philadelphia is a AAA rated 4-diamond, luxury hotel located in the Rittenhouse Square section of center city Philadelphia. With 306 beautifully appointed guestrooms, inclusive of 68 junior suites and 1 Presidential Suite, 16,000 square feet of meeting space, Chez Colette, our Brasserie-style restaurant, Liberté, our newly renovated urban, chic lounge, fitness center, and internet cafe, the hotel has been named Number 1 by TripAdvisor in Philadelphia.
Qualified candidate will be responsible for the safety and security of the hotel on a designated shift. Responsibilities will include numerous scheduled walk throughs of the entire property, completion of daily security logs and loss prevention efforts. Will be responsible for assisting guests in security related situations, such as lost and found, noise issues, safety and security concerns, etc. Candidate will also be responsible for assisting other departments, as needed. Candidate must be able to operate all life safety equipment, and be able to respond to safety concerns in a calm, efficient and effective manner.

Qualified candidate will have at least two years of previous Security experience, as well as the ability to provide luxury service to guests. Candidate must be a self-starter and be detail oriented. Must have good verbal/ written communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft and Excel is required. Flexible with schedule and availability is a must.
