Job Description
Flawlessly executes Ameristar housekeeping standards by maintaining cleanliness of all guestrooms in accordance with spotless service expectations. Responsible for key security by properly adhering to key checkout procedures. Properly change bed lines, sanitizes and cleans restrooms, dusts all room surfaces, cleans mirrors, fixtures, and floors. Will supply rooms with all amenities, lines, and special items as requested. Assure that every room meets Ameristar standards prior to guest occupancy. Responsible for maintaining work station, including stocking workstation with sheets, pillowcases, towels and all amenities. Completes daily housekeeping reports as required. Enters proper code, via telephone, to update checkout ready status for rooms to ensure fast adn flawless service standards. Follows all established safety and security guidelines.
Job Requirements
Six months previous cleaning experience preferred with preference given to hotel experience. Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals. Must have the ability to lift 30 lbs. and posses the mobility and dexterity required to meet the demands incumbent to this position. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Must meet and abide by all company appearance and grooming standards to include but not limited to appearance and uniforms. Must be able to work a flexiable schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays. This position is required to have an ID badge issued by the Iowa Racing Gaming Commission.
