Position Summary / Contact Center Bilingual Spanish Speaking Reservation Sales Agent

Contact Center Bilingual Spanish Speaking Reservation Sales Agents are required to effectively use sales and service techniques to close sales in a contact center environment. Sales Agents will be primarily responding to potential customers inquiring about lodging accommodations. Agents apply the product knowledge and customer service skills developed during training to evaluate customer preferences and communicate the information needed to sell the Red Roof Inn Brand. Agents are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times when interacting with customers, peers and the management staff.

Position Responsibilities

  • Effectively sell the company's products and services.
  • Routinely learn and apply knowledge of product and booking policies to reach the goal of providing excellent customer service and securing a reservation.
  • Learn methods to evaluate customer's needs, research discrepancies, provide explanations or modify reservation.
  • Answer simulated calls from customers, employees and management to respond to reservation inquiries.
  • Comply with company policies regarding performance and conduct.
  • Accurately process customer transactions.
  • Achieve established contact center performance standards.
  • Communicate with and seek clarification from management any issues or concerns.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Must be able to learn quickly and apply knowledge to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service by evaluating customers' needs, responding to questions, collecting and entering data in a computer, while working in a team or group environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Past sales and service skills required.
  • Must be able to achieve expected sales and service standards.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule and be willing to work weekends and some holidays.
