Job Description: 

 

  • Leads and manages hotel operations 
  • Approves hotel department budgets, defining and directing changes, as required. Facilitates the preparation of hotel budgets and forecast for corporate submission and approvals. 
  • Reviews forecast and balanced scorecard. Directs hotel actions required maximizing profitability, increasing service levels and improving team member satisfaction. 
  • Speaks with and responds to guests regarding service challenges. 
  • Hires, supervises, coaches, disciplines and conducts performance evaluations for department heads and key personnel.  Visually observe staff performance and conduct various evaluations such as room inspections, coordinate action plans in areas found deficient. Track Progress follow-up to ensure all areas meet or exceed established standards. 
  • Develops the skills and abilities of direct reports 
  • Monitors high potential department heads and team member activity and ensures their growth within the company. 
  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. 
  • Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all restaurants and bars to achieve a profitable result. 
  • Implement effective control of food, beverage and labor cost among all sub-departments 
  • Assist the area managers in establishing and achieving predetermined profit objectives and desire standards of quality food, service, cleanliness, merchandising and promotion. 
  • Oversee various vendors operating within the hotel to ensure they are operating within the standards set forth in their contract.

Job Requirement:

  • General Manager Experience Only 
  • IHG (Intercontinental hotel Group) Experience preferred 
  • Ability to perform critical analysis of the Market 
  • Revenue Management 
  • Job management 
  • Must Be will to relocate to the Job location 
  • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing in order to prepare official memorandum and correspondence as well as provide clear and meaningful instructions, guidance and counseling to all team members. 
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel operations, sales & marketing, food & Beverage, human resources and hotel financial processes and analysis. 
  • Lead by example in order to attract, train, motivate, empower and develop associates and instill "Whatever it Takes" philosophy. 
  • Must possess a proactive approach to problem solving and guest satisfaction. 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team. 
  • Considerable skill in computer. 
  • Hands on Opera System
