Executive Housekeeper

The Holiday Inn Secaucus Meadowlands in Secaucus New jersey has an immediate opening for an energetic motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Executive housekeeper and oversee the entire operation of the housekeeping department.  This position reports directly to the Director of Rooms.  Areas of accountability include but are not limited to:

 *Management, supervision, evaluation scheduling, training coaching and counseling of all Housekeeping and Laundry Staff.

*Supervision and direction of all aspects of Housekeeping operations of the hotel to ensure the highest quality and level of cleanliness to meet hotel guests’ expectations and brand standards.

*Controlling of all departmental expenses to ensure that they meet budget guidelines including Housekeeping supplies and payroll.

*Communicating with the Engineering Department to ensure proper maintenance of the rooms and public areas.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Excellent organizational, communications and leadership skills.
• Must be dedicated to customer satisfaction.
• Must be “hands-on” and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
