Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of account management,
adhering to corporate guidelines.

? Coordinate with all departments to ensure the creation
and executive of all VIP amenities and requirements.

? Assign banquet/meeting rooms based on the needs of
clients.

? Establish rapport with meeting planners while
promoting hotel facilities and services. Conduct walking
site inspections.

? Plan and conduct pre & post convention meetings with
clients and applicable departments.

? Broaden productive client base and increase awareness
of hotel.

? Maximize exposure through creative promotion both
during and pre /post event.

? Aggressively solicit and follow up on leads generated.

? Keep abreast of market trends, competitor's activities
and guest/client feedback.

? Respond to all correspondence to clients.

? Manage key accounts.

? Attend, participate and/or lead pre-convention
meetings

? Greet guests during events.

? Monitor office administrative support personnel.

? Understand room types, rate and codes.

? Conduct site visits.

? Entertain clients.

? Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all
departmental policies/service procedures/standards.

? Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and
use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.

? Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and
acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time
of day.

? Maintain positive guest relations at all times.

? Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

? Access all functions of computer

? Answer telephone.

? Make telephone calls to specified individuals as
requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing.

? Prepare correspondence, memos, proposals, contracts
and reports.

* Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage time and

* Strong Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills

* High School Diploma (or equivalent) required - College
degree preferred.

* Minimum 1 Year of Management Experience in a similar
position within the hospitality industry

* Food & Beverage Menu Knowledge & Pricing strongly
preferred

* Superior Selling & Negotiation Skills - Proven ability
to close deals

* Must have the ability to work evenings and weekends
when events are scheduled

* Must have the ability to walk, stand and/or sit for
long periods of time.

* Must have the ability to lift/pull/carry up to 15lbs
regularly and up to 30lbs occasionally.
