The Tuscan Inn at Fisherman's Wharf is looking for someone energetic and determined. Our bell/valet staff is the front line in creating a great guest experience, and we are looking for someone who really loves to take care of people.
SUMMARY: The Bell/Valet attendant is responsible for providing quality guest service within the guidelines specified by the hotel management. Sets and maintains high level of guest service. Provides support for the line staff. Training of all employees working any shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to: (other duties may be assigned
- Meet with bell/door staff to review any pertinent information.
- Review Bell Desk logbook for any other information or incidents.
- Review all arrivals & departures, noting any special requests or challenges.
- Make sure all shifts are covered as scheduled, cover as necessary.
- Follow established key control policy.
- Ensure proper luggage handling, shipping, & handling procedures are followed.
- Assist guests with services and requests.
- Knowledgeable of Fire and Emergency procedures.
- Help run and attend departmental meetings when scheduled.
- Attend any training classes/seminars when scheduled.
- Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors.
- Complete other departmental duties, as they become necessary.
- Professional contact via telephone with all other hotel departments such as, Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, Valet, Engineering, etc…Is crucial to ensure the hotel services are coordinated to provide the best in guest and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications:
-Schedule flexibility to include night, graveyard, and weekends
- Must have clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
-The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-35 pounds.
Must be available to work all shifts including over night shifts as needed. Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
