Position Summary:

To manage and oversee the Sales and Marketing Department. To develop and implement a marketing strategy for the hotel in an effort to maximize the profitability and reputation of the hotel in accordance with company objectives, standards and procedures. To direct and oversee the activities of the reservations, sales and marketing departments, and Catering and Conference Services in accordance with the marketing plan and to coordinate service activities related to the sales function, in order to maximize revenues and customer satisfaction.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Director of Resort Sales and Marketing for the Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort, outside Flagstaff, Arizona. Twin Arrows is currently under construction and is slated to open in Spring 2013. This stunning property will be positioned as a 4-star / 4-diamond full service destination resort, and will be like no other hospitality entity in Northern Arizona.

This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated individual with a background as a Director of Sales and Marketing, who should have a solid full-service background to provide strategic direction for sales activities in accordance with the marketing plan. This individual will oversee all aspects of sales and marketing efforts to produce top line revenues.

This position is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the Twin Arrows resort by accomplishing performance objectives focused on operating revenues, implementation and development of sales and marketing plans and sales associate team development.

This position will have the sales managers, revenue manager and catering sales/conference services reporting to him/her.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field; and a minimum of 5 years hotel marketing experience, preferably at a 4-5 star property, hotel or resort. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. Valid driver's license. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
