Job Description

Omni Charlotte is currently seeking an Energetic,
Professional In Room Dining Server for our Room Service
Department.
Responsibilities Include:
*Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu and
specials.
*Prepare, deliver and service orders.
*Responsible for preparing, delivering and processing
guest checks.
*Responsible for tray and table pick-ups.
*Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of
VIP amenities.
*Communicate guest issues or concerns with the
supervisor & management team.
*Answer the In-Room Dining phone within three rings.
*Take guest orders and give the approximate deliver
time.
*Follow prepared scenarios to encourage up-selling.
*Know and adhere to all liability laws.
*Print reports at the beginning and end of each shift
*Cash out appropriate at the end of the shift.
*Attend designated staff meetings and training sessions.
*Keep the In-room Dining area clean and properly
stocked.
*Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B
Management/Supervisors
*Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames
when obtained.
*Create memorable, WOW experiences for each and every
guest
Job Requirements
Requirements Include:
*Have previous guest service experience; F&B and hotel
experience is preferred. Prior server experience is also
preferred. ; ;
*Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment,
follow through on guest requests, ensure guest
satisfaction, and work as a team player.
*Must be service and detail oriented; possessing a
friendly approachable demeanor and strong
problem-solving skills.
*Previous experience in high customer contact
environment; with previous experience answering customer
questions and handling customer concerns.
*Proven phone etiquette skills.
*Have excellent verbal communication skills and a strong
attention to detail.
*Computer knowledge, MICROS experience preferred.
*TIPS and/or RASP certification required upon hire.
*The ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of
time, lift up to 30lbs and push/pull up to 40lbs.
*All applicants must have a flexible schedule, and be
able to work weekends and holidays. This position will
primarily work 2nd (PM) shifts.
