The XpresSpa Regional Manager is the leader of the regional XpresSpa team and is the point person in communicating XpresSpa's operational philosophies and procedures directly to the store managers and field staff. The Regional Manager will be expected to maintain communication between the spa and corporate headquarters on a regular basis. The Regional Manager will work closely with airport and airline administrators and executives. The Regional Manager is expected to deliver sales results while maintaining strict operational standards and ensuring that clients are receive exceptional customer service at all times. The Regional Manager must be reliable, self-motivated, business savvy and have strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple spas within a geographic region reporting to the Vice President of Store & Operations
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and supervise store managers within territory
  • Ensure each store within the territory is achieving monthly sales goals
  • Manage and monitor all expenditures within budgetary guidelines
  • Ensure each store is scheduled properly for the needs of the business
  • Assist managers in hiring, developing and motivating employees
  • Provide training and support to promote effective sales techniques
  • Ensure a consistent, quality store experience for customers from location to location
  • Maintain positive relationships with key airport personnel within territory
  • Identify promotions and merchandising opportunities for each store
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify top selling products to push at individual store locations
  • Ensure store managers are adhering to company policies, procedures and using company performance management tools and resources to develop talent for leadership roles
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve in unique situations

 

Candidate must possess:

  • A minimum of 8+ years experience in spa, retail, hospitality or comparable business management
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding team building, employee development and relationship building skills
  • Experience with financial statements, driving sales while maintaining corresponding budgets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • Experience with multi-location management a plus
  • Experience in spa/resort/salon environment a plus
