The Housekeeping department at the legendary US Grant hotel works behind the scenes to create an elegant and welcoming reception for our global explorers. Housekeeping works closely with the Front Office team to have rooms ready for guest arrivals each afternoon, and to ensure guestrooms are prepared for in-house global explorers when they return from their day.
Job Description
The Room Attendant in the Housekeeping department is responsible for creating a unique, indigenous experience for arriving and in-house guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning rooms, vacuuming, making beds and changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and general organization of guest belongings and furnishings. Room Attendants must be able to work quickly and independently, all while being responsive to guest preferences. Prior experience in upscale hotel housekeeping is preferred.
