General Maintenance Mechanic
Position Description

General Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for: providing maintenance repairs to resort units, public areas and administrative offices: repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs. Requirements include: a working knowledge of refrigeration; air conditioning; electric; plumbing; kitchen equipment and other mechanical devices; ability to meet the physical demands of the position, such as heavy lifting, working on ladders, and standing or walking for extended periods of time.

In addition, applicant must be abke to work flexible hours - weekends, holidays, AM shift (7a - 3p) or PM shift (3p - 11p).

Location Information

The Copley Square Hotel reopened as Boston's leading boutique hotel in January 2009 following an $18 million renovation.will undergo a $14 million renovation beginning November 5, 2007. We are looking for associates who will assist us in repositioning the hotel as an upscale, luxury, urban-chic, boutique hotel. We are a 143 room property located in the heart of the Back Bay.
