Job Description

The Omni Bedford Springs Resort is currently seeking
seasonal Golf Cart Attendants. The Golf Cart Attendant
will be responsible for giving the highest level of
guest service, while maintaining the golf cart fleet,
staging area, practice facility in an appealing manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Enthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if
possible)

* Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making
them feel welcome.

* Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all
times in accordance with the Omni Hotels standards

* Working knowledge of club operations

* Render professional advice, opinions, assistance,
and services as required.

* Perform duties and meet requirements for
tournaments, club rentals, and services which the
Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professionals
deem necessary.

* Promote the interests of the resort in providing
service to the guest.

* Provide a guest-friendly environment.

* Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by
supervisor or manager.

* Assist in other departments as needed.

* Attend monthly departmental meetings.

HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

* Must be able to operate the hald-held radio
communication device

* Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow
staff members, valet and bell staff

* Must be knowledgable in trail access locations, bike
rentals, and appropriate fishing locations

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

* Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by
supervisor or manager

* Assist in other departments as needed

* Attend monthly departmental meetings

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily outdoors with exposure to
sun and heat; job involves constant standing and
walking; frequent sitting and operation of a golf cart.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* Must be able to work weekends, holidays, mornings
and evenings.

* Must be able to operate the hand-held radio
communication device

* Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow
staff members, valet and bell staff

* Must be able to familiarize him/herself with trail
access locations, bike rentals and appropriate
fishing locations to properly address guest
inquiries in these areas

* Availability for a start date of April 1
