Job Description
SUMMARY: To ensure smooth and efficient Housekeeping operations, Butler Team and Laundry area. Operate and Direct the Butler team as per the standards and procedures. Develop best practices to achieve departmental goals, hotel desire scores for GEI, financial targets, staff training and high employee morale. Lead by example, with hands on Management style. Motivate & empower team to consistently focus on our guests bespoke service and excellence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be assigned as required. oResponsible for impeccable cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and service areas. oEnsures total guest satisfaction in regard to personalized service and special requests. oResponsible for personal welfare of the guest. oSupervises and supports room attendant. oMonitors daily work assignments, productivity and standards. Ensure room inspections are conducted daily on vacant and occupied rooms. oEnsures proper record-keeping and communication verbally and in writing. oOrdering and maintains required par stock for linen, cleaning supplies and amenities in appropriate areas. oResponsible for department scheduling and productivity. oOrdering and maintains necessary par stock of all Food and Beverage items and related supplies in pantry area. oEnsures sound safety habits and enforces established security procedures. oCommunicates through responsible channels all problems pertaining to Engineering/maintenance problems as well as losses, damage breakage and all other irregularities. oMonitors special projects pertaining to specialty cleaning, decorating, and rehab. oAssures the proper handling of equipment and manages the daily use and distribution of all supplies. oEnsures professional conduct in general and proper etiquette by staff and self. oPatrols guest corridors to guarantee their perfect appearance and conditions. oIs familiar with the status of every guestroom on the floor. oProvides the front desk with clean rooms on a priority basis. oIs in constant communication with the Housekeeping, Front Desk and Concierge.
