Revenue Manager/Multi Property

The primary purpose of this position is to monitor group and transient business thresholds within our annual forecast to ensure measurable improvements for demand and availability. Maintain projections on the effect future group sales have on average rate and occupancy potentials, as well as suite profit with in forecast. Supply critical analysis on the effect of short-range decisions effecting occupancy, average rate, and suite profit goals within the current 52-week period. Conducts analysis of citywides and special events. Implements Revenue Management strategies to maximize impact from demand generators. Closely monitors competitors for shift in demand, rate and strategy. Understand and manage the basic system controls governing any/all SRP's/channels utilizing logical sell strategies for 365 days. Maintain inventory controls for all preferred accounts.
The second purpose of this position is to support the sales effort of the hotel. This will include identifying distressed periods, coming up with recommended strategy and creative ideas to drive revenue. Work with Internet Marketing vendors to help identify when and what to promote online, assist in lead generation, internet prospecting, and as identified.
This position is directly responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of the Revenue Management Culture of the hotel. It is our goal to exceed every person's expectations we come in contact with. We work to represent and support the hotel and its revenue efforts with 100% commitment.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Lead revenue management efforts in all aspects in a property level capacity.
2. Be an expert on market trends; inventory, pricing strategy and trends for all segments with recommendations to outperform the competition.
3. Manage optimizing transient and group pricing, inventory and selling strategies.
4. Manage all brand required systems and programs; ex. OnQ Systems; RMS, R&I, FMS, Reporting and Analysis.
5. Conduct short term and long term forecasts. Forecast Management and Analysis
6. Ensure all revenue management systems are optimized and audits conducted daily if needed to guarantee sell strategy is set correctly in all channels.
7. Complete and analyze appropriate reporting as directed by the Company.
8. Co ordinate 3rd party (OTA) and Internet marketing strategies.
9. Conduct Weekly Revenue Management Meetings, attend identified weekly meetings (i.e. Sales Meetings)
10. Ensure compliance and participation with WCG Corporate Policies/Standards and brand programs and continually build and strengthen WCG Corporate and Brand relationships.
11. Support property Reservations/Front Desk/Sales processes to generate more revenue.
12. Is a co owner of the Budgeting and Business Planning process as identified.
13. Be responsible for attending ongoing training opportunities within the brand and self educating as pertinent brand related and industry data comes in.
14. Assist with project work as identified.
Position Requirements:
3+ years Hilton or Embassy Suites Full Service Revenue Management experience
Understand and execute on Embassy Suites Revenue Management Core Deliverables
Working knowledge of Hilton Systems and appropriate training/certifications from Embassy Suites Brand Revenue Training such as ONQ, RMS, R&I, FMS, Solicitation, etc
Working knowledge of programs and tools such as e announcements, e events, group value dates, value assessments, revenue management tool kit. Familiar and able to navigate OnQ Insider.
Working knowledge of Travelclick Products, GDS Systems, PPC, SEO, OTA's.
Working knowledge of hotelSalesPro.
Working knowledge of 3rd Party Extranet Sites a plus
Working knowledge of the business and budget planning process.
Highly proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
Excellent writing/presentation skills.
Articulate speaking skills with the ability discuss a point clearly and effectively as well as present results

To do this job, you must have the following licenses or certifications before being hired:
Prefer Hilton RMU Graduate and someone who already has ONQ Certification.
To do this job, you must have the following amount of total education and/or experience:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. College degree preferred.
