Job Description

As the Overnight Manager the nightly hotel front office operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: checking in/out hotel guests, responding to guest inquiries, service recovery, responding to emergency situations, conducting guest room inspections, providing feedback to Front Office agents, managing administrative duties, preparing VIP rooms, payroll maintenance, controlling operating expenses, and being a strategic partner in the overall Rooms department function. The Night Manager will also be involved in facilitating the hiring process which includes: pre screening candidates, interviewing, training, evaluating job performance and providing ongoing training/development to all positions.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have good communication skills both verbal and written, good computer skills, 2 years of previous supervisory hotel front desk experience. Candidate must have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, the ability to lift/push/pull heavy items, and the ability to work a flexible schedule nights/weekend/holidays included. Ideally the candidate will have previous manager/supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment.
