"Craveable Experiences. Raveable Results." We are currently seeking a General Manager for the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. The Dallas Convention Center has more than 1,500,000 square feet. And it offers a staggering 726,726 square feet of prime, contiguous exhibit space along with a 203,000-square-foot column-free exhibit hall, the largest in the U.S. Plus, the Dallas Convention Center offers even more great features, such as a 9,816-seat arena, a theater with a 1,750-person capacity and 96 meeting rooms. The General Manager will be responsible for all catering, concessions, restaurant operations and merchandising. Duties of the General Manager include, but are not limited to: * Maximizing revenue * Setting and achieving the operational goals of the facility * Maintaining current business levels while seeking new opportunities * Working with clients to ensure profitability and guest satisfaction * Hiring, training, and developing management and team members
Job Requirements:	Job Requirements: * Candidate must have at least 5 years management (General Management) experience in high volume banquet service and retail setting * Previous experience in a Convention Center environment * Experience in managing the operations of catering, banquets and retail outlets * Strong organizational, leadership, and human resources/development skills * Financial Management - Mastery in managing Profit & Loss statements, budgeting, and financial analysis. * Must have experience in managing within a diverse environment with a focus on customer service. * Must be a hands-on self starter that can creatively teach and lead a team in this exciting, fun and family friendly environment * Must be a true people person and have be able to relate to all levels of associates, clients in this environment *Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes irregular hours and weekends This position is accompanied by a competitive salary and benefits package.
