Job Description

This position has a start date of Q1 2013.

To protect, maintain and upkeep for all sales systems,
controls for rooms and computer files. Follows all
procedures to ensure compliance from sales managers when
working with ACP, GRC, and all reports or files.

The Market Research Coordinator must:

* Maintain the Group Rooms Control Log (GRC)

* Daily logging and distribution of definite and
tentative bookings, cancellations, and revaluation.

* Generate the Weekly Sales Activity Report (Catering,
BTSM, and Group Sales)

* Preparation and typing of the Advanced Sales
Report/Director of Marketing Letter at the end of
each month (to be in Corporate Office by the 3rd
working day of the month)

* Procurement of all office supplies and the effective
use of the Oracle Procurement system

* Coordination of all payroll, MOD calendars and PTO
schedule for the Sales & Marketing

* Preparation and typing of Monthly Inventory Growth
Analysis.

* Responsible for the Account Coverage Program and
it's parameters (5/10/15, OSCAR, Sales Audits, etc).

* Maintain a Kill file for Lead information.

* Maintain a Lost Business file.

* Maintain Sales & Marketing checkbook.

* Distribution of Housing Pick-up Reports, Firm Rate
Commitment Forms, and convention memoranda from
Convention and Visitors Bureau.

* Research, distribute, and log all leads from
National Offices, telephone and other sources.

* Maintain Reference Library, association memberships,
trade show information, and mailing list databases.

* Give group histories to other hotels, and obtain
them from the hotel as needed.

* Must have full knowledge of the Sales Administration
Manual and ensure that procedures are being
followed.

* Aid the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales
in monitoring the KRA benchmarks.

* Aid the Director of Marketing in creation of all
reports that analyze and support the sales function
for the hotel

* Attend Weekly Marketing Meetings.

* Attend Weekly Support Staff Meetings.

* Assist Director of Marketing with coordination of
special promotion mailings.

* Assist the office manager and the Director of
Marketing in special projects.

Job Requirements

Requirements
The Market Research Coordinator is responsible for:

* Managing & maintaining the DMPE database system.

* Executes & coordinates all data and reports;
ensures property and users are compliant with all
Omni DMPE standards.

* Provides administrative support to the DOSM, DOS
and Sales Managers.

* Responsible for ordering & maintaining departmental
office supplies and collateral.

* Individual will be proficient in Excel, Work,
PowerPoint, Outlook and have knowledge of Delphi 9.2
and Market Vision.
