Job Description

¨ Responds to all guest requests appropriately

¨ Depending upon the volume, is responsible for
servicing an assigned number of guest rooms

¨ Keeps the supply cart neat and organized at all times

¨ Checks all equipment prior to and after its use to
ensure that it is in good working order

¨ Removes room service tables and trays from guest rooms

¨ Hand in any articles to a supervisor or return it to
the dispatchers office

¨ Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
¨ Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative
courses of action quickly and accurately.
¨ Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
¨ Must be effective at listening to, understanding and
clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers
and guests.
¨ Bilingual helpful
¨ Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a
friendly, service oriented manner.
¨ Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel
standards, as required by scheduling which will vary
according to the needs to the hotel.
¨ Maintain high standards of personal appearance and
grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and
nametag when working.
¨ Comply at all times with Hotel standards and
regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel
operations.
¨ Thorough clean and re-stock guest rooms per 8 hour
shift
¨ Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not
limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen
for housekeeping cart set up.
¨ Remove all trash and dirty linen for all guest rooms.
¨ Report all lost and found items to Housekeeping
Supervisor immediately.
¨ Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean,
neat, swept and vacuumed.
¨ Prepare housekeeping cleaning cart for next days use.
¨ Report all guests borrowed items (i.e. irons/boards,
hair dryers, etc) to Houseperson for save return back to
Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
¨ Report any maintenance repairs immediately to
Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
¨ Maintain 97% room quality as minimum standard
¨ Wear back belt at all times when working.
¨ Sign in and out Master keys in key control log in
housekeeping
¨ Report room status of all check-outs at 1:00PM to
Housekeeping.
¨ Follow all procedures as outlined by the Executive
Housekeeper
¨ Other duties as required.

Job Requirements

Must be able to stand/walk up to hours per day.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to
100 pounds.

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings,
weekends and holiday.

Ability to communicate in English in preferred but not
required.
