| Job Description: | As a Vacation Planner, you will be the first point of contact for our Guests. The Main responsibilities of a Vacation Planner are selling Theme Park admission tickets and packages.
Vacation Planners receive a starting rate of $9.05 per hour. Monitor and communicate acceptance conditions for multiple admission media. Responsible for working in the following areas, including, but not limited to: Ticket Booth: Requires continual spieling to Guests/Cast Members regarding ticket media, travel vouchers and Annual Passports via a ticket window. Cast Members working this position must feel comfortable handling large amounts of money and possess a high-level of integrity. This position requires sitting at a ticket window for approximately 90-minute intervals throughout your shift. Cast Members working this position must possess advanced computer skills and have a high level of integrity Guest Services Complex/Group Sales: Duties include, but are not limited to opening and sorting mail; sealing envelopes; processing Guest requests, ticket media orders, FedEx orders, Internet orders and renewal passports; interacting with hotels and travel agencies; and using ticketing programs. Cast Members must be competent in verbal communication skills, phone etiquette, and have the desire to become a Resort expert. Cast Members working this position must possess advanced computer skills and have a high level of integrity Plaza Pavilion/Bank of Main Street: Working the Plaza Pavilion/Bank of Main Street position requires steady hand movement with a digital camera for picture taking. This position focuses on Annual Passports and other ticket media and requires strong verbal communication skills and data entry. You must be willing to accommodate special requests and create service solutions for our Guests. Cast Members working this position must possess advanced computer skills and have a high level of integrity Guest Control: Working the Guest Control position requires you to control Guest flow with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality to ensure a positive and efficient experience. You must be proactive with Guests to offer Resort information and assistance when needed. You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role. This position requires advanced computer knowledge and skills. Entails working efficiently under pressure and handling large volumes of cash and credit card transactions Must be able to be pro-active with Guests by asking and answering questions. Must be adept at working in a high volume, fast-paced and team-oriented environment Required to utilize a computer and complete cash transactions. Must be able to deal with multiple forms of currency and have strong cash handling skills Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events This role is Part-Time and requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of THREE (3) days per week, including nights and holidays. SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.
