Job Description
Responsible to create a great experience for our Guests and our Team Members while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position must meet all performance assessments and financial goals. Lead the passionate charge for excellence in food quality and service, every time. Supervise all aspects of employee relations including hiring, developing, coaching, mediating, recognizing, and evaluating team members. Resolve food quality and service opportunities, communication with appropriate team members and leaders on Guest feedback. Implements, adheres, and monitors all department and property policies and procedures including but not limited to standards of conduct, attendance, appearance, cash handling, confidentiality, safety, signature sequence of service, and sanitation. Works with all departments to successfully execute Ameristar strategies to maximize operational efficiencies and improve both the Guest and Team Members experience. Perform all administrative duties as required to successfully manage the department.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three (3) years experience in food/beverage required. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience desired. Must be able to develop and sustain productive guest relationships. Must be able to manage the performance of others effectively. Ability to train, mentor, and develop a team. Basic knowledge of MS Office. Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to abide by the company appearance standards. Must be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming Commission Level 3 Gaming License.
